Police photos show where Anastasiya was killed

Lebanese police photos show the the Beirut apartment building where Rakhat Aliyev victim Anastasiya Novikova was held captive and killed in 2004.

#JusticeForNovikova has obtained of the Lebanese police and medical examiners’ reports, which include graphic photos. Many of the photos are too horrible to show in public.

Thanks to some helpers who found us through our social media campaign, we have the reports, in the original Arabic and with English translations.

The police photos show where Anastasiya was killed: at the Beirut apartment owned by Rakhat Aliyev‘s brother-in-law,Issam Hourani, and Issam’s brother, Devincci Hourani. Both Houranis have been close business partners of Aliyev and figure prominently in Anastasiya’s captivity, abuse, and death, and the cover-up that followed.

The images on this page contain comments and official stamps in Arabic, from Lebanese authorities.

The Hourani brothers also own a flat at London’s exclusive Lowndes Square,where #JusticeForNovikova supporters held a protest on June 19, the 10th anniversary of Anastasiya’s murder.
